Bath's Medical History Trail

Our shop window display traces the amazing and intriguing history of medical research in Bath over 2000 years from the days of the Romans to the reign of Charles the Third. On the days the museum is open between 12 and 4, there will be lots of fun hands on activities and exciting exhibitions, including a detailed record of Bath's famous spas from Bladud in the 9th century BCE through to the emergence of the new Thermae Bath Spa in the 21st century CE in our small museum.

Activities include: Walking trails, a virtual min model and interactive activities. Feel free to come along!

For those wanting to take part in the Shop window trail - simply head to Assured Mobility and scan the QR code in the window. Once you’ve completed the trail head to the Hetling Room to receive your bookmark!
